The high compression not only frees up storage space but is delivered with less bandwidth and at higher transmission rates.

Cable TV

Creating bandwidth out of bandwidth-limited networks

Using Red Prime Technologies' H.264 video encoder/servers, cable TV community channels can now upload live content to head-end facilities using pre-existing cable plant infrastructures. The new generation encoders deliver higher transmission rates over much lower bandwidth allowing CATVs to reclaim unallocated analog frequencies for digital use.

Red Prime Technologies' encoders deliver TV quality video and audio to help community access channels promote educational and community programming.
